Description
Outer axle seal than mounts behind the rear brake shoes but on top of the backing plate. This is the older type that has the seal separate from the metal housing that diverts the bearing grease and gear oil (if you have a leaking inner axle seal) from contaminating your brake shoes by channeling grease or oil to the exterior side of the backing plate.
