Used non-locking gas cap alternative for all 1970 311 model roadsters with evaporative emission controls that require a non-vented cap; this cap is vented and you should block the vent holes before you install it. This used cap includes a new gasket and has also been chromed which improves the appearance but is not the original finish type (stainless steel). Nissan.

This cap mounts on the later style filler neck with the vent line that sticks out perpendicular from the filler tube typical of the 1970 311 roadster model, not the earlier style vent tube with a 90 degree bend.
