Rear axle bearing, quantity of two (2), semi-sealed type) that mounts on the axle; the axle must be pulled to install this bearing. This bearing is the semi-sealed type which protects the bearing grease from dilution if the inner seal fails. Failure of the inner seal allows gear oil to wash out the bearing grease which will result in bearing failure as the bearing is designed to be lubricated by grease, not by gear oil found in the differential.
