NOS Trunk lock with two keys as shown (one original “Lion” key and one aftermarket), new body gasket, clip, but no lever arm; technically correct for a different early Datsun model but works well with a slight modification for the 65 – 67 310 and 311 model roadsters. Nissan.

For this to be installed and to work correctly on the early Datsun Roadsters, you will need to reuse your existing lever arm and either remove the narrow alignment peg on the lock barrel or create a square notch in the body back panel lock hole (not visible once the lock is in place). The original Roadster lock has wide alignment pegs at 12 and 6 o’clock and a narrow one at 3 o’clock; this one has the wide pegs at 12 and 6 o’clock but the narrow one is at 9 o’clock (this is the one that needs to either be removed or a small notch needs to be filed into the vehicle sheet metal back panel lock hole).
